After taking pictures the entire afternoon for a client, its time to rest and fill up our tummies :)

Sun Sutra Restaurant is just further down the street from Tropical Resort.

I was awe struck when I looked at the place. It's really tastefully decorated. Contemporary Balinese?

That corner if for people to have a drink and chill out with friends. Dress code wasn't stressed here as the waiters do not chase you away if you wear bermuda pants with a shirt.

Hey, at least I wore semi casual. August is Langkawi's low tourist traffic season....

*click on the picture above to view the bigger version* Pricing is almost like Bella Italia don't you think?

I was surprised they served breads with some butter and an unknown condiment. I thought the greyish bread with black dots were charcoal bread but its weird to have chunks of charcoal on the bread right? The pesto like condiment was delicious. Sweet with pungent red bell pepper smell. Roasted bell peppers?

The Caesar Salad was interesting. Instead of the expected garlic taste, I tasted something fishy XD Haha first time having anchovies, so katak di bawah tempurung.

Here's my Fillet of Sole. Apparently, the cream was slightly too watery and needs slightly more flavoring. The fish was over poached too. Despite all that, the mash potato was the best I'd ever eaten O.O seriously. It was really good.

Can you believe this is a washroom? There are fountains and you can see the fountain from the loo when you do your business. Hehe.

Loads of mirros and an area to sit down. My lousy pictures do not give justice to the place. You can visit the place yourself when you are there.

You can go over to Mayakirana and see what she thinks about Sun Sutra.

Happy reading~
