It was always that question "Where to eat?" that makes everyone's head spins. Fortunately, we don't have to stop at some parking lot to think about it. After almost 2 months holiday, my friend kinda miss Khaleel's food, so there we go.
There were not many people when we reached there. Probably it was a bit early for dinner. Anyway, our stomachs were growling so we quickly ordered and who knows if suddenly a mass of people would appear out of nowhere, clogging up the kitchen with orders!
First order was Nasi Goreng Kerabu. Generous portion and enough to feed 2 small eaters. Not a bad dish at all. The fried rice taste good. Apart from pieces of sotong, chicken and vegetables (carrots, cucumber), there are also chopped lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, onions, few smashed cili padi.
Ain't it colourful?
I never said anything about grabbing a plate of nasi kandar didn't I ;)
My friend order Nasi Putih Paprik. A separate stir fried dish served with a huge plate of white rice.
Again, it's enough to feed 2 small eaters :) The sweet soury gravy stir fried with chicken, sotong, a chockful of vegetables, onions and few pods of cili padi. The cili padi is just to enhance the smell. Both the fried rice and the dish below is not very spicy.
Don't worry, the slight heat from the chili won't kill. Indian's (Mamak in this case) like everything colourful don't they? RM10.20 for 2 teh'o ais limau, a plate of nasi goreng kerabu and 1 nasi putih paprik.
For saving measures and really small eaters, you can order 1 nasi putih paprik and an additional plate of white rice for your teman makan. lol
Happy reading~
